Student Members
As a member of the IINSPIRE student network you will:
- Join a community of peers, mentors, faculty, and administrators who will help you excel at your own institution and throughout the Alliance
- Make connections with some of the Alliance’s most respected faculty
- Participate in special academic success programs in STEM areas
- Participate in research opportunities with faculty at any of the Alliance institutions
- Learn about upcoming STEM events, internships, and research opportunities
- Connect with mentors and career development professionals
- Present your research at the annual conference poster competition
The program is open to any undergraduate student in the eligible majors who is enrolled or has been accepted for enrollment at any of the IINSPIRE LSAMP alliance institutions.
Research Interns
IINSPIRE LSAMP research interns are eligible to receive funding support for:
- Participation in academic or summer research experiences or internships
- Research supplies
- Travel to conferences and professional meetings to present your research work
