Student Presentation Sessions

Presentations are a way for students to demonstrate their academic and research accomplishments and communication skills, and to document personal and professional growth through internships and other experiences.

Awards categories:

• Poster presentations
• Favorite poster award

The oral and poster presentations were evaluated by a panel of judges. The favorite poster award is based on votes by conference attendees. The presenters of winning presentations receive cash awards. Third place received $100, second place, $200, and first place $300. The favorite poster voted on by attendance received $250:

Awards for Excellence in Mentoring

Mentoring is of primary importance within the Alliance, and can be recognized at any level where it occurs. Eligible mentors include those who are actively involved with LSAMP students and assist students in setting and achieving their own academic, personal and professional goals, and through this work contribute significantly to achievement of LSAMP program goals. Any individual or organization affiliated with the IINSPIRE Alliance may be nominated for this award.
